Schaeffler has introduced a new generation of plummer block housings: the SES series. They are to replace the current SNV and SNG series. They can be ordered in standard sizes right now, including accessories, but delivery will begin in October.
The new SES series offers numerous technical innovations that provide even greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness for machinery and plants. In addition, thanks to the standard sizes they are excellent replacement products of bearing housings in the same size.
Flexible modular system for many applications
Housings made of high-quality flake graphite cast iron are also compatible with rolling bearings of various diameters and widths, as well as shafts with a diameter of 20-160 mm or ¾ and 5½ inches. SES split plummer block housings are also suitable for split, unsplit, and sealed spherical roller bearings.
In order to be able to use the SES series in harsh environments such as raw material extraction and processing, material handling, paper industry and agricultural machinery bearings, Schaeffler offers a wide range of seals and accessories. This allows them to be optimally equipped for the given operating conditions.
